HIGHLIGHTS

Day 01: Arrive Addis, Transfer to Hotel. Overnight Intercontinental Hotel

Day 02: Drive to Awash National Park then to Fentale creator to visit the area, then back to Awash for overnights. Local Hotel

Day 03: Drive to Semera (Regional Adminstration center for the Afar Region) to process the entrance fee and permit on.

Day 04: Pick a local guide then drive to visit Allolopad Volcanic hot spring fountains, then back to Semera or spend the night at Dubti Villages. Overnight Camping

Day 05: Drive to Afdera, visit the Afdera salt lake. Overnight camping

Day 06: A short visit around the lake then drive to Dodom village to arrange your next day walk to Ertale. Overnight camping

Day 07: Early in the morning walk to the Ertale Volcanic hill, visit the active volcano and around. Overnight camping

Day 08: your second day visit around the volcanic areas. Overnight camping

Day 09: Early morning you will walk to back to the cars, and then drive to Ahmedale. Overnight camping

Day 10: Drive to Dallol, visit around then drive back to Ahmedale. Overnight camping

Day 11: Drive to Mekele. Overnight Hotel

Day 12: This day you can visit 3 or4 unique rock hewn churches of Tigray. Then drive back to Mekele for Overnight

(a lot of camping and hot weather of Afar so that We recommended that after you can relax a bit)

Day 13: drive to kombolcha. Overnight hotel

Day 14: Drive back to Addis. Overnight Hotel

Day 15: City tour of Addis, National museum, churches and Merkato. Evening Departure
